My name is Darran Jamieson, and I am Spiffing Games. (Yes, I do everything)

Currently living in Dundee, Scotland. I used to work at an educational games company called TPLD and had a stint as a Java / HTML tutor for Abertay University. I'm currently working freelance and have started this site to catalogue and promote my work.

I've made a lot of games, but most of them aren't very exciting. I'm currently recoding and updating some old games into flash, and making some new ones. I worked for 4 years on Kharne: The Revelation, an RPG that was primarily made by Dave Moore. Kharne is still massively incomplete, but its fun for a quick bash.

I'm massively into gaming, be it computer, board, card or roleplaying, and have played at competitive levels for all. I'm working on a steampunk/apocalyptic tabletop RPG which will (hopefully) be released as a complete world and system at some point. I'm also trying to put together a board games where you play a politician and have to lie, cheat and steal your way to victory.

My other main interest is writing. I've been published in magazines and books, and right now I'm working on a book of my own - which will probably never see the light of day, but I can dream.
